Rain really cute here…yeah, his English is really terrible(Rain, if you want to learn English, I can teach you)…just saw Rain’s latest tweet…he must be enjoying himself in New York. Congratulations, Rain!
Though Time had a very short write-up,and you may not be an author on how to alleviate poverty or be congratulated by his Stanford professor on having some bright idea that led to Google, but I believe YOU DESERVE TO BE WITH THEM. SHOW THEM, JI-HOON!

@8847sam, yep we were and are. it’s a real challenge learning Hanguel-ga, but it’s worth the effort.
this looks like part of Rain’s promoting NA…and he doesn’t seem to fully understand the questions here, although his effort is good. so happy he has improved so much since then.

Just studying a different language as an elective in school was challenging, and for me that was many years ago. I applaud ANYBODY who takes the time to learn and DARE to speak conversationally with someone in a language not their own. It was a “little painful” to watch because you find yourself wanting to “pull” the words out of him, but his effort was great. (SMILES)

Sometimes I feel the interviewers themselves get too “wordy” when they have to know up front they are interviewing someone who doesn’t know the language that well. Some interviewers are better than others and can finesse the interview in way that would make it seem a little less awkward.
