05.31.11 [Yonhap News] Seoul District Public Prosecutors’ Office indicts ‘Lee’ and two reporters on charges of spreading false reports about Rain.

South Korean authorities have indicted ‘Lee’ (55), a businessman who works on clothes, ‘Kim’ and ‘Yu’ who work as investigative reporters for internet newspaper ‘S’ and news agency ‘N’, respectively, on charges of spreading false reports about Rain.

In March of last year, ‘Lee’ filed a complaint against Rain claiming that Rain embezzled company funds, and he even released the related information to the two reporters to let the papers soon get hold of the story. So, Rain sued the three for libel over the remarks last October.

Before this, the court ruled Rain not guilty at the end of December last year.

With jaw-dropping prices during Rain’s 2007 concert, fans this time were relieved to know that they only had to pay $288 for the front row seats to ‘THE BEST 2011 Rain Asia Tour in Singapore’.

Cheaper = less spectacular? Nah! The cost of the concert itself cost a whopping SGD 1.5million! And of course including an extensive crew of 120 people!

When asked to choose between movies, performing and producing boy bands (MBLAQ’s producer is Rain), he said that it was like choosing between his mother and father!

Rain is out to prove that no matter where he goes, he’s always dressed like a top star. leopard-print shirt is quite a fashion statement!
Posting pictures onto his Twitter on May 21st, fans got to see the world star wearing a bold leopard-print shirt while roaming the streets of Germany.
While his style is fairly casual, he still managed to make some fangirl’s heart race by leaving the top part of his shirt unbuttoned.
In a separate tweet, Rain wrote, “After successfully finishing my concert in Germany, I am picking a meal from the menu. To celebrate, I ordered a cocktail ice cream. I almost died eating it. Hooni (Jung Ji Hoon) is in a great mood”. And with that, he uploaded a hilarious picture with both his arms and legs spread wide apart.

The Korean superstar Rain put young K-pop bands to shame as he single-handedly held the 5,000-strong crowd’s attention for a solid two hours.

As the lights went out and people started to lean back in their seats during the first, what they saw on screen jolted them off their seats again.

Rain had let the cameraman follow him backstage as he proceeded to change outfits.

Cue loud, shocked screams which became louder as his top came off and even more deafening as Rain put his hands on his pants.

Throngs of overseas fans turned up for the Singapore leg of the Korean Superstar’s final concert tour before his army enlistment

It was their final chance to get up close and personal with Rain last night before the singer-actor temporarily hangs up his dancing shoes to serve his country for the next two years.

Though “a little sad” to bid goodbye, a couple of Malaysian fans who specially flew in on Sunday morning for the concert were “proud of Rain” and will continue to “wait two years from now” for his return.

To grab the best possible standing spots in the mosh pit segments, these Malaysian fans started queuing at 9am, hours before the The Best 2011 Rain Asia Tour in Singapore concert began. The first in line was an 18-year-old Malaysian fan who arrived at 6.30am with her mother in tow.

Armed with paper fans and fan paraphernalia, waiting patiently outside the stadium’s premises were a group of 200 overseas and local fans from Rain’s official fanclub. We were told by two Singapore reps that a group of 150 Korean, Japanese and Indonesian fans specially flew in to attend the event last night.

On Saturday, international star Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) tweeted photos of himself in Germany. In one photo, he is seen drinking out of a cocktail glass bigger than his face. Along with the pictures, he wrote, “Successfully finished my concert in Germany…and now I’m looking through the menu. I ordered a cocktail ice cream to toast my success, but I almost died trying to finish it. T.T ”

In the photos, Rain is seen at an outdoor café sporting a sunglass with a very sexy open buttoned leopard print top. The photo where he’s seen drinking out of a cocktail glass that is twice the size of his face has been attracting much attention among netizens.

Recently, Rain participated in the Dresden Music Festival, one of Germany’s most celebrated festivals, and received a fusillade of encore requests after his performance.

Dresden – A new experience in the solemn Semperoper: not a quiet devotion while expecting a musical experience, but a heated up emotional atmosphere reigned Thursday night, when the artful meeting of the chief director of the music festival Jan Vogler on the cello and the “South Korean King Of Pop” (“TIME Magazine”) Rain, took place.
